SF Bay Area Lessons
I teach drums, percussion, piano, keyboards, and music theory. Students come to me with a variety of backgrounds, from no experience to preparing for college auditions. Over 20+ years of teaching private lessons, I have methods in place for a wide variety of students.
All students have access to drumset, cajon, djembe, vibraphone, glockenspiel (bells), various keyboard and synthesizers, and more.

What to expect each lesson:
Check in and review of your musical goals
Warmup and review of techniques
Work through challenges in your current song or music style
Engage with written music in a drum book or other examples
Practicing listening by jamming with teacher
Many students can play a steady drumbeat on the kit after one lesson. Within a few lessons, students are able to play along with a song.
